Stores selling both ethnic and Western wear usually have some lovely ones in stock, or you could even take your pick from the streets -- some tiny roadside stalls sell truly stunning kurtas embellished with sequins, embroidery and bandhani work. Of course, you could go for high-end creations as well, by prominent Indian designers who will charge you as much.


To make a style statement, pick a colourful kurta and team it with a pair of jeans or formal trousers for a night out. Stilettos will add that classy touch and you will be looking your best!
