Ho Ho Ho!

Yes, it’s that special time of year when you go gift shopping crazy and pack a million ‘catch ups’ into a very small amount of time because hey! It’s Christmas!

As a tragic fashionista, one of my biggest stresses is to have enough outfits for all the seasonal socialising. Never wanting to be spotted twice in the same ensemble, it’s important to have six or so favourite pieces you can mix and match. But of course, not all clothes will be appropriate for all occasions.
Your faded denim shorts for casual afternoon beers will not cut it for a nice dinner with Grandparents. But we all like to look nice for special get togethers, so here is my guide to dressing for the festive season…

Collared dress

The parent pleasers

Festive florals

Sparkle, sparkle, sparkle

Deep down, buried way down with a love of 90s band Hanson and Dawson’s Creek, every girl loves sparkles. Whether it’s for New Years, work drinks or a Christmas Eve party, something sparkly and pretty will set the tone for a very merry Christmas. I love that this is "the trend" for this year new year party!

Red lipstick

It’s a bit retro, but totally sexy. A rouge pout for Christmas is a great way of perking up a tired face and creates a merry and cheerful appearance. If you can’t bring yourself to wear a snowman jumper, red lip stick is perfect. Bring on the mistletoe!

Merry Christmas to all the readers of Bella-Sugar! I sure am delighted to have you with me..
